I have been sleeping better and have been feeling more rested so something's working! I have been getting up less in the night - a few nights even sleeping all the way through until morning - and getting back to sleep quicker when I do get up in the night. And I haven't been on the verge of nodding off on the drive home after work.
What's ironic to me is that I didn't sign up for the workshop because I was having trouble sleeping. I came for a variety of other reasons - I like you as a teacher, my friend Ann was going, I trust Nick and Lela not to offer something that isn't worth exploring, the day/time worked in my schedule, etc. Because I have always fallen asleep easily I didn't think I had problems sleeping. But I did get up at least once a night to use the bathroom and it took me longer to fall asleep then. I also was always really tired after work. Before your sessions I did not connect these to sleep or relaxation issues. But they have both improved using the techniques we learned in your classes. I feel like I'm rambling on but I wonder if there are others like me who don't know they could be helped by these workshops because they don't think they have sleeping problems.
