We teach meditation practices in most of our classes. It is an integral branch of the yogic path, and has deeply influenced our approach to teaching. We teach meditation techniques from the Buddhist tradition, classical yoga, and tantric yoga. Several times a year, we offer workshops, series and retreats that focus on meditation training. This series offers opportunities to discover calming skills to help you cope with a variety of stress-producing life situations. Each week students will learn and practice specific meditation techniques centered around breath awareness, body sensation while sitting, standing and moving, or guided Yoga Nidra. Learn the art of mindfulness and how to take it into your daily life. No meditation experience. Wear comfortable, layered clothing. Cushions supplied.
